RACHIMZANOV – MUCHA Mixtape Vol. 1

We are thrilled to present our first artist for the MUCHA Mixtape Project: RACHIMZANOV.

RACHIMZANOV is a young and talented graphic designer hailing from Cologne, also known as a tattoo artist, home barista, plant enthusiast, and DJ all bundled into one remarkable individual. It’s rare to encounter someone with such a diverse set of talents and a passion to challenging always oneself. Our paths first crossed through a former, non-existent collective, evolving from a chance encounter into a lasting friend- and partnership.

RACHIMZANOV was the pioneer who established himself in the early days of MUCHA. He played a pivotal role in shaping the design concept for MUCHA from the very beginning. His commitment, ingenuity, and precision have consistently molded and professionalized our aesthetics to this day.

In recent years, we’ve let him grace our stages, adding yet another layer to his already impressive skill set – under his birthname RACHIMZANOV. Initially starting DJing in 2017, he found the courage in recent times to curate multi-genre sets that showcase the diverse spectrum of his evolving sound:
Skillfully weaving through a kaleidoscope of bass music genres, he seamlessly blends House, Breakbeat, Acid Techno, Halftime/Trap, and DnB into a realm where deep basslines, filthy drops, and bouncy rhythms converge.

We are immensely grateful for the serendipitous meeting in the past and unbelievably proud to now call him a resident, artist, and, most importantly, our friend today. Here’s to many more years with you
